HGSM students are required to:
- Complete all 67 classes, online or by way of correspondence.
- Successfully complete all homework with at least 75% proficiency.
- Thoughtfully and prayerfully read all seven assigned required reading books.
- Turn in seven 1-4 page book summaries with personal insights (1 for each book).
- Successfully complete and report on all HGSM field assignments.
Requirements for all HGSM who wish to apply for Ministry License:
- Must successfully complete all HGSM student requirements.
- Must be actively tithing and serving in a Bible believing local church.
- Must not be a new believer (must be born again at least 3 years).
Requirements for all HGSM who wish to apply for Ordination:
- Ministry Ordination is reviewed on a case by case basis.
- Must successfully complete all HGSM student requirements.
- Must be actively tithing and serving in a local church.
- Must have significant additional training and/or experience.
- Must have significant and credible ministry references.
Current HGSM tuition and registration policy:
- Upon registration all students are interviewed by pastors.
- Student contact information is verified.
- Classes are $20 per class; payment due upon completion of class.
- There are no binding contracts; students pay as they go.
- Tuition is non-
refundable
Field Assignments include:
- Class 17 & 18: Evangelism – go to a stranger and use the Gospel Script.
- Class 19-21: Outreach – create, execute and report on a new soul winning outreach.
- Class 27: Hospital Visitation – go to a hospital; anoint with oil & pray for a stranger
- Class 28: Conduction Funerals – interview a funeral director at a funeral home.
- Class 30: Nursing Home – visit a nursing home; pray for a senior.
- Class 31: Prison Ministry – visit or write a prisoner in jail or prison.
- Class 32: Homeless Ministry – bring food to and pray for a homeless person.
- Class 33: Children’s Ministry – witness to and pray for a child 12 or under.
- Class 34: Foreign Missions – Interview a foreign missionary.
